Who you’ll be working with:
If you have a strong background in IT, computer science, or software engineering, and are analytical, technologically savvy, solutions and process-focused, then the Technology & Operations team may be for you!
You will be responsible for the following:
- Strategy & Roadmap Development: Owning and communicating the enterprise data streaming strategy, ensuring the long-term roadmap aligns with broader business goals and delivers measurable impact.
- Technical Leadership, Innovation & Future-state Architecture: Architecting and prototyping next-generation infrastructure for real-time analytics and emerging technologies (AI/ML), and partnering with business teams to lead high-value proof-of-concepts.
- Architecture & Governance: Designing and documenting scalable streaming patterns and standards, enforcing best practices to ensure security, quality, and reliability.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Acting as the central point of contact for streaming initiatives, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving the successful adoption of the platform across the enterprise.
- Evangelism & Enablement: Champion adoption and event-driven mindset; establish and lead a Community of Practice (CoP).
We’re looking for:
- 10+ years in data engineering or architecture, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience building and managing large-scale Kafka or Confluent Platform solutions.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with stream processing capabilities (Flink, ksqlDB) and proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
- Proficiency in Data Modeling and Data Governance and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD.
- Proven experience in a leadership role defining roadmaps and standards, with the ability to articulate a clear vision and influence technical direction.
- Essential experience working in agile, cross-functional teams, with excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration between business and IT stakeholders.
