Data Analyst Manager, Commercial Analytics serves as the organization’s subject matter expert in advanced analytics, guiding global business units in leveraging data for strategic advantage. This role combines deep technical expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data architecture with strong business acumen to influence decision-making at the highest levels. The SME will define best practices, mentor teams, and drive innovation in analytics capabilities across regions.
How you’ll make an impact:
Analytics Leadership & Strategy
- Act as the primary advisor on advanced analytics methodologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Design and implement predictive and prescriptive models to support strategic planning, pricing optimization, and market forecasting.
- Establish frameworks for scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to inform executive decisions.
Data Architecture & Governance
- Define and enforce standards for data modeling, semantic layers, and analytics pipelines in Snowflake.
- Oversee integration of internal and external data sources to enable comprehensive insights.
- Champion data governance, quality assurance, and compliance across global analytics initiatives.
Insights & Visualization
- Deliver executive-level dashboards and advanced visualizations in Power BI, embedding predictive indicators and trend analysis.
- Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
- Drive automation of reporting processes and ensure scalability of analytics solutions.
Competitive & Market Intelligence
- Lead development of advanced market simulation models to assess competitive scenarios and pricing strategies.
- Integrate syndicated data, KOL networks, and unstructured sources for holistic competitive intelligence.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging analytics techniques for market analysis.
Strategic Planning Enablement
- Serve as the analytics authority in global strategic planning cycles, providing predictive insights and risk modeling.
- Standardize planning tools and processes across regions, ensuring consistency and accuracy in data-driven inputs.
Mentorship & Cross-Regional Influence
- Mentor regional analytics teams and business analysts on advanced techniques, data storytelling, and best practices.
- Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous innovation in analytics.
What you'll need:
- University degree and strong experience with data science or advanced analytics roles in a multinational or regional context.
- Advanced proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn), SQL, and Snowflake
- Proficiency in English
