Your day at NTT DATA
As the Manager, Cybersecurity Strategy & Advisory, you will lead the vision and execution of a world-class cybersecurity consulting practice across the UAE. Your day will revolve around shaping strategic advisory services, defining the consulting portfolio, and positioning NTT DATA as a trusted partner for government entities, regulated industries, and large enterprises. You will engage directly with C-level executives and regulatory bodies, influencing cybersecurity strategies and driving transformation programs that safeguard critical infrastructure.
You will build and scale a high-performing team of cybersecurity consultants and advisors across domains such as GRC, cloud security, offensive security, zero trust architecture, and emerging technologies like AI security. From defining recruitment strategies and competency models to fostering a culture of excellence and thought leadership, you will ensure the team delivers cutting-edge solutions aligned with global best practices.
Your role will also involve owning the service portfolio and ensuring delivery excellence across engagements. You will oversee cybersecurity maturity assessments, compliance programs, and advanced services such as SOC advisory, threat intelligence, and incident response. With full P&L responsibility, you will drive commercial growth, lead strategic bids, and cultivate long-term relationships with regulators, industry stakeholders, and technology partners—positioning NTT DATA at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation in the region.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Market Growth
- Lead the vision, development, and expansion of NTT DATA’s Cybersecurity Strategy & Advisory practice in the UAE/GCC.
- Define and own the cybersecurity consulting portfolio, service catalog, business strategy, and commercial roadmap.
- Act as the most senior cybersecurity advisor for strategic accounts, influencing C-level executives and regulatory stakeholders.
- Shape and drive regional market positioning for NTT DATA’s cybersecurity consulting services.
Build & Scale a Cybersecurity Consulting Team
- Establish and grow a high-performing team of cybersecurity consultants, specialists, and advisors across all domains:
- GRC & Compliance
- Cloud Security
- Offensive Security (PT/Red Team)
- Security Architecture & Zero Trust
- Application Security / DevSecOps
- Data Security & DLP
- AI Security & Emerging Technologies
- SOC / Threat Intelligence / IR Advisory
- Define recruitment strategy, role structure, career paths, competency models, and certification plans.
- Build an internal culture of excellence, continuous learning, and thought leadership.
Executive Advisory & Client Engagement
- Serve as a senior subject matter expert and trusted advisor for cybersecurity strategies, board-level discussions, and large-scale transformation programs.
- Directly lead engagements with government, financial services, energy, telco, healthcare, and national critical infrastructure sectors.
- Provide executive oversight for cybersecurity maturity assessments, audits, regulatory compliance programs, cloud modernization, and enterprise risk management initiatives.
- Drive development of executive-level deliverables: strategies, frameworks, roadmaps, governance models, operating models, and transformation plans
Service Portfolio Ownership

- Oversee the execution of all advisory engagements to ensure delivery quality, strategic value, and compliance with regional standards.
- Develop frameworks, methodologies, best practices, and reusable delivery assets.
- Act as final executive reviewer for high-impact deliverables and transformation programs.
- Ensure consistent governance, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction across the practice.
Commercial & P&L Ownership
- Own revenue targets, gross margin performance, and profitability for the cybersecurity consulting practice.
- Drive pipeline creation, bid leadership, solutioning, and proposal development.
- Lead executive-level client presentations, workshops, and pre-sales engagements.
- Cultivate long-term strategic relationships with regulators, government organizations, industry stakeholders, and technology partners.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:
- 12–15+ years in cybersecurity consulting, advisory, or leadership roles.
- 10+ years of cybersecurity consulting experience in the UAE (mandatory).
- Proven success in building or scaling a cybersecurity consulting practice or business line.
- Strong track record delivering large-scale cybersecurity programs in the UAE/GCC.
- Deep understanding of UAE and GCC regulatory frameworks (NCA, NESA, TDRA, ADHICS, etc.).
- Executive-level stakeholder management, including government, FSI, and critical infrastructure.
- Executive presence + strong communication and storytelling skills
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
- Proven ability to build, scale, and mentor consulting teams
- High integrity, professionalism, and relationship-building capability
- Strong commercial mindset with focus on growth and delivery excellence
Academic qualifications and certifications:- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, ISO 27001 LI/LA, CEH, OSCP, TOGAF.
- Cloud security certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP).
