Everyday Business Banking (EBB) supports the full spectrum of business customers’ needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates. It has accountability for product management across Deposits & Transactions, Merchants, Corporate Credit and Debit Cards as well as managing the end-to-end business customer experience. 

As a Manager in the EBB Customer Pricing and Deal Management team, you play a crucial role in supporting the execution of strategic priorities and delivery of better volume/ margin outcomes across all Transaction Banking relationships. This exciting opportunity allows you to tackle a diverse range of initiatives, from improving portfolio margins to executing strategic projects that align with key business priorities.

Do work that matters

  • Working in collaboration with the broader Product, Finance and Distribution teams to structure deals that balance competitiveness with profitability.

  • Ensure pricing decisions align with business objectives, market dynamics, and customer value proposition.

  • Support the Senior Managers and COE Lead to execute strategic initiatives focused on enhancing margins, growing volumes, or simplifying risk across the EBB portfolio.

  • Managing data and analytics to build and maintain robust pricing models and find optimisation opportunities.

  • Understand dynamics of the Deposit and Transaction Banking portfolio, including key drivers, trends and leading indicators, and ideate plans to adapt to changing conditions and opportunities.

  • Monitor business results for existing relationships and recommend modifications in product features, pricing, and marketing approaches to improve results.

  • Understand and listen to the voice of the customer, be across and predict industry trends to help our customers meet their needs.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Consulting, financial or business analysis background

  • Experience in business strategy, or in financial services more generally

  • Structured problem-solving capability

  • Some understanding or experience in business strategy or related disciplines

  • Quantitative analytical skills (e.g. financial analysis, data analysis or both) and ability to use data and insights to inform decisions

  • Preference for candidates who have experience using SQL and Alteryx
