The Credit Cards FP&A team is at the centre of a fast‑moving, high‑impact business, owning forecasting, planning, analysis, and reporting across expenses and revenue. The role partners closely with the business to understand key drivers, build and refine forecasts, perform variance analysis, and clearly explain the story behind results when actuals differ from plan. There’s strong exposure across the full lifecycle of initiatives, from business cases through to production, alongside hands‑on work supporting senior managers with data mining, template creation, and system‑driven analysis. On the revenue side, the team works closely with senior leadership on loan modeling for credit cards, while adding increased rigour around KPI tracking. Success comes down to learning the business and its drivers; once that’s in place, it’s a classic but highly valued finance role. Experience with financial modeling, large‑scale data, and tools like Essbase, SAP, and Anaplan is a major asset, as is the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for partners. The cards business is profitable, highly visible, and well run, offering meaningful collaboration, reasonable asks from partners, solid work‑life balance even during heavier month‑end or planning cycles, and strong long‑term growth opportunities for those looking to build deep expertise and advance their careers.
