Job Title: Accountant (Fixed Term)

Are you a detail-oriented, proactive, and naturally curious Accounts Payable Specialist with a "can-do" attitude, ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment? Pushpay is looking for a talented individual to join our Accounting team. In this role, you will be a key player in managing our end-to-end accounts payable cycle, including company credit card program and employee expense reimbursement.
About the role:
As an Accountant (Fixed Term) you will be responsible for several key Accounting work streams and deliverables with a key focus on month end process, accounting journals, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations. You will work closely with the rest of the Accounting team, the FP&A team, the CFO and the wider business

Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports
What you’ll do:
Analyze and reconcile all general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries and supporting documentationMonitoring bank balances and ensuring accurate and timely record keeping for all bank transactionsMonth end process across the Group including balance sheet and bank reconciliationsManagement of fixed assets, intangible assets, prepayment and lease schedules Assisting with the preparation of financial reports where required Provide assistance and support to billing, payables and payroll team members as neededProvide assistance and support for sales tax analysis and reporting for multiple states and countriesAssist with financial and tax auditsDocument and monitor internal controlsWork on complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance teams or with other departmentsMaintain the general ledger, assist with audit preparations and perform other accounting duties as assigned
