The Manager of Contractor Programs supports the development and implementation of GAF's Residential certification strategy and contractor programs to enhance competitive positioning. Reporting to the Director, this role focuses on continuously improving the customer experience by evaluating data, market activity, and feedback from internal and external stakeholders. The Manager leads a team to execute the Director's vision, helping to transform concepts into scalable solutions and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Essential Duties

  • Strategy, Design, & Analysis:
    • Program Execution & Support: Assist in executing contractor program growth strategies that align with GAF’s long-term vision, utilizing data-driven insights to deliver an industry-leading customer experience.
    • Program Design: Support the design, evolution, and implementation of contractor programs, including CCP, LIR, Designations, Awards, and the Marketing Hub.
    • Competitive Benchmarking: Conduct ongoing competitive marketplace benchmarking to evaluate GAF’s position and ensure offerings remain competitive.
    • Insights & Analytics: Analyze multi-source data to measure engagement, report on KPIs, and monitor major trends and issues affecting the customer base.
    • Feedback Management: Manage mechanisms for gathering data, market activity, and feedback from stakeholders to suggest program improvements.

  • Marketing & Promotion:
    • Program Marketing: Execute communication and marketing strategies that promote program value to contractors and the GAF sales team.
    • Promotion Execution: Coordinate the day-to-day execution of promotional campaigns and seasonal incentives aimed at driving program enrollment and contractor activity.
    • Brand Value: Assist in refining program messaging to deepen brand loyalty and communicate the unique value of GAF’s Residential Certifications.

  • Project Management & Execution:
    • Project Management: Oversee day-to-day project deliverables, and resources to ensure successful completion within scope and objectives.
    • Execution & Testing: Market test program changes, monitor post-launch performance, and implement iterative enhancements based on feedback.
    • Measurement: Track success metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and report findings to the Director to drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaboration & Teamwork:
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with Marketing, Sales Support, Sales, IT, Warranty, and Enrollment teams to ensure contractor engagement, seamless transitions, and program integrity.
    • Communication: Keep key stakeholders informed of initiatives, project status, and action plans on a regular basis.
    • Project Leadership: Drive a project mindset across functions, ensuring team collaborations result in mutual progress under the Director's guidance.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Minimum of 5-7 years related business experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience or demonstrated understanding of the building/construction materials industry

  • Demonstrated project management and execution experience.


General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of GAF’s products, services, and Google Suite.

  • Ability to perform benchmarking against industry peers and analyze financial data.

  • Proven presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a large workload and coordinate plans with other departments.

  • Understanding of marketing channels and integrated/digital marketing.


Travel Requirements: Up to 50%

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Salary Range: $128,000-$176,000
