Job Summary
Manage electrical scope design, conduct constructability reviews, clearance deconfliction and provide accurate labor estimates for projects based on engineering print designs. Ensure that optimization of work and resource allocation is adequately reviewed and evaluated before IFC finalization. Lead and direct the Constructability team ensuring they provide strategic technical, financial and functional consultation and support. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Essential Functions
o Review detailed electrical designs and specifications based on project requirements and engineering prints.
o Collaborate with project managers, architect engineers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
o Conduct thorough constructability reviews of electrical, mechanical & civil designs to identify potential challenges and solutions before construction begins.
o Collaborate with construction teams to gather feedback and insights on design feasibility and implementation.
o Recommend design modifications to enhance constructability and efficiency.
o Clearance studies to identify and mitigate construction risks and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Prepare accurate labor estimates required for the execution of electrical, mechanical & civil works, considering project timelines and resource availability.
o Analyze historical data and industry benchmarks to support estimating efforts.
o Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to align labor estimates with budget and schedule constraints.
o Develop level 2 schedules with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
o Document all findings and prepare comprehensive reports outlining constructability concerns and recommended solutions.
o Maintain organized records of print reviews and any subsequent revisions.
o Develop project risk registers for construction and project management teams.
o Facilitate communication between design, construction and project management teams to ensure alignment on project expectations and requirements and participate in project meetings to present findings and engage in problem-solving discussions.
o Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services.
o Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
o Conduct site inspections and ensure all electrical work meets quality standards and adheres to project specifications.
Required Qualifications For Position
4-6 years • 5+ years of experience in electrical design, construction, and project management
Strong knowledge of safety and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated knowledge of operations activities, equipment, supplies and materials.
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to grasp technical explanations of operations scenarios and draw accurate conclusions.
Demonstrated project and time management skills. Strong knowledge of scheduling and budgeting.
Draw accurate conclusions from quantitative information and make sound decisions.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in PC applications including Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Strong capability to collect, organize and understand what priorities need to be acted upon and act quickly to resolve. Organized mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with energy-efficient design practices and sustainable building technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5+ years of experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of System Operations, standards and processes.
Strong knowledge of company policies and procedures.

Salary Range*:
$129,500.00 - $194,300.00*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
