Providing delivery of claims services, determining proper policy coverage to conclude, investigate, evaluate and negotiate assigned cases. Ensuring customer satisfaction and equitable solution to claims in accordance with company guidelines.

Your New Role

• Strategy and Planning
•Support the implementation of claims management strategies and objectives for the region / branch
•Policy, Process and Procedures
•Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes and modifications
•Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve Claims systems and procedures
•Approve claims within appropriate authority levels
•Environmental Awareness/Customer Focus
•Maintain good client relationships with the insured, agents, service providers and the general public
•Respond to client requests in accordance with service standards
•Provide information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out
•Technical Performance
•Ensure recoverable amounts are assessed and effectively followed up and approving significant claims within written authority levels
•Ensure legitimate claims are paid in accordance with policy conditions by providing technical expertise and leadership
•May supervise the investigation and settlement of all claims within the team
•People Management
•Supervise Claims staff

About You
• Customer service
• Organizational and communication skills
• Analytical and negotiation skills
• Basic English Communication Skills
• Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications
• At least 7 years experience in insurance
• Strong knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes
