Job Summary: You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the Technical Division (SP20) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.

Major Duties:

  • You will manage for shore-based PC-based trainers, ashore curriculum delivery systems, and afloat training delivery systems.
  • You will provide program management acquisition and life cycle support of ashore and afloat PC-based training delivery systems.
  • You will manage training systems Information Assurance (IA) efforts including attainment and maintenance of Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • You will provide liaison between the SSP and other Naval technical organizations and the Fleet (TYCOM, Groups, Squadrons, and Training Commands) concerning PC-based training system and training simulation software engineering issues
  • You will provide oversight for activities at associated contractors.
  • You will provide oversight for associated government agencies that produce PC-based simulations for SP 2056.
  • You will lead the coordinated efforts of DoD, Navy, contractor and academic organizations, providing technical and program direction for the development, acquisition, implementation, sustainment, and retirement of IT systems.
  • You will act as the branch project director for coordination, development and implementation of curricula automation including Computerized Curricula Management Systems

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a program analyst, provide authoritative oversight and data-driven recommendations for administrative, programmatic decision-making, manage projects, while leading evaluations of program effectiveness, resource management, contingency planning, and supervision of subordinate staff.
