Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Manager, Brand & Product Communications, Nissan & INFINITI to join our team in Mississauga, ON (Canada).

This role will be responsible for all brand and product communications to Canadian media, translating internal backstories into a favorable narrative to be used by media and social media content creators and dealers. The role of Manager, Brand & Product Communications aims to elevate


A Day in the life:

  • Develop & manage the day-to-day media relations for both the Nissan and INFINITI brands, including their products and act as the primary contact for media.

  • Develop product, technologies and EV communication strategies in line with product planning, marketing and overall business objectives.

  • Drive the storytelling strategy for Nissan and INFINITI in Canada

  • Continuously foster relations with media and content creators to further build editorial coverage for Nissan and INFINITI.

  • Overseeing messaging and communication assets for both brands and their products.

  • Oversee digital and automotive influencers strategy to enhance Nissan and INFINITI presence in digital and social media Executive communication

  • Develop key messages, speaking remarks and briefing documents for executives related to product

  • Brief executives ahead of each interview or media event on brand, product and technology key messaging 

  • Implement and oversee the lifestyle influencer strategy to broaden Nissan and INFINITI’s presence and reach across earned social

  • Oversee the LinkedIn strategy for both Nissan Canada and key executives’ channels

  • Support dealers’ communications, as needed, in coordination with Sales Operations

  • Support the CRM team in developing communication materials (text, video) to promote Nissan and INFINITI brands/products to consumers

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product Planning, EV Strategy and other cross functional teams and support translating functional stories into PR wins.

Who we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in a communications/PR management role.

  • PR experience within the automotive industry is a plus

  • Academic background in public relations, communications, journalism or related fields.

  • Proven solid relationships with media.

  • Exceptional written, presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Good capacity for public speaking.

  • Demonstrated independent and strategic thinker, able to take initiative and follow through on projects.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Salary Range:

$113,435.00 - $139,366.00

This compensation range represents the minimum to midpoint base salary rates at Nissan for jobs assigned to this particular grade level. Please note that an employee’s base salary may occasionally be set above the midpoint of the salary band for this grade level, in recognition of the employee’s unique skills, work experience, education, work location, or market conditions. Compensation decisions also consider internal equity and comparisons with the base salary rates of other employees with similar backgrounds working in comparable roles. Note: Bonus, benefits, and other forms of variable compensation are not included in the base-salary range shown above.
