Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Manager, Asset Securitization Operations is responsible for the execution and on-going administration and reporting for Corporate Treasury's Securitization & Term Funding transactions.

What you will do?

  • Administer the monthly reporting of Corporate Treasury’s securitization/ structured finance vehicles. Ensure all deadlines are met.  Advise management of any unusual situations for which guidance is required.
  • Analyze on-going performance of structured finance vehicles and effectively communicate findings to senior management.
  • Participate in the on-going development of the systems strategy for structured finance transactions, including UAT design and execution.
  • Facilitate alternative solutions by seeking out new approaches, tools, methods and/or technologies to provide effective and efficient reporting.
  • Ensure the flawless payment and collection of all interest and principal flows relating to all Corporate Treasury’s structured finance transactions are completed by the required deadlines.
  • Complete understanding and adherence to internal and external regulatory requirements in carrying out day-to-day tasks.
  • Review of daily/monthly monitoring of all related cash accounts.  Ensure all irregularities are reported to the appropriate management individuals.
  • Actively involved with new business developments while consistently improving business processes
  • Learn about Corporate Treasury’s securitization strategic goals and initiatives and participate in their development.

What you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related subjects
  • 2+ years of direct experience gained in a financial institution
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High proficiency in mainframe system, MS Excel and SQL database applications
  • Ability to work independently with great attention to detail
  • Experience in mortgage products or mortgage securitization would be an asset
