Manager, Analytics & Metrics
At Mastercard, the People Insights Team play a crucial role in shaping our talent strategy and enhancing employee experience through data-driven insights. The People Analytics Consultant role is part of our Consulting Team within the Global People Insights Team, requiring collaboration across multiple Regions & time zones.
The ideal candidate will have experience of providing actionable insights and compelling narratives, and have experience of partnership within the HR functional domain within a global or matrixed organization. This role requires a deep understanding of people analytics, data visualization, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and impactful narratives.
Role
o Analysis and Insights: Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights across the employee lifecycle and key HR areas, including employee listening, talent and performance, learning and development, and workforce dynamics.
o Commercial Mindset: Operates with a strong business impact mindset, demonstrating commercial acumen and the ability to translate data driven insights into strategic decisions that drive measurable value and improve organisational performance.
o Storytelling: Develops and delivers compelling, data driven narratives tailored to senior audiences (e.g., C Suite and HR Leadership), enabling informed decision making.
o Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively partners with HR Business Partners, CoE teams, and Finance to provide thought leadership on analytics initiatives, while maintaining clear communication on progress, scope, and timelines.
o Cross Functional Collaboration: Builds strong relationships across HR, Finance, and Strategy teams, working across the organisation to execute against the people analytics roadmap.
o Continuous Improvement Mindset: Stays current on industry trends and emerging themes in people analytics, identifying opportunities to introduce external perspectives, enhance analytical products, and maximise impact.
o Data Integrity & Governance: Exercises exceptional judgment when handling highly sensitive people data, partnering closely with Data Privacy and Governance teams to ensure appropriate approvals and compliance.
o Ad hoc Data Requests: While prioritising strategic initiatives, the role is also required to support multiple ad hoc data requests, balancing responsiveness with workload prioritisation and impact.

o Understanding of the HR functional domain; either through hands on experience or external research
o Experience of relationship building and managing a group of either internal or external clients
o Proven practical experience in developing insights and narratives for an Executive level audience
o Flexible and responsible; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, including adapting where required to changes in business priorities
o Comfortable with ambiguity and operating in a highly dynamic environment
o End-to-end problem-solving and communication abilities: diagnosis, data cleaning, integration and transformation, analysis, visualization, and presentation
o Ability to collaborate with peers and cross functional teams, working across multiple time zones
