Manager, Analytics Implementations

Job Description:

• Collaborate with other team members to define and refine our processes and practices for performing analytics implementations and other technical services and deploy these with the goal of improving quality of key deliverables across projects.

• Develop and deliver a training program that will allow technical staff to efficiently gain knowledge on performing analytics implementations.

• Manage a group of technical consultants

• Mentor junior team members on successfully executing their consulting duties.

• Deliver and have oversight on key deliverables

• Evaluate business goals and objectives from multiple business teams and develop and document tracking/tagging strategies to allow individuals and teams to measure success

• Consulting with clients and/or their agencies on projects requiring web analytics platform selection, implementation, and platform remediation

• Work with client development teams to install, configure & use web analytics services such as Google Analytics, Amplitude and/or Adobe Analytics

• Perform pre and post production data quality assurance tests on tracking implementations

• Provide industry “best practice” consulting services to clients in solving their Web analytics platform strategy and technical needs.

• Conduct platform training and knowledge sharing on our core web analytics platforms for clients and the project team

• Recommend appropriate technical web site measurement tactics tied to business goals

• Identify opportunities for site and media tagging efficiency and provide solutions

• Develop and maintain technical analytics tracking solution documentation

• Write/edit implementation documents, which explain how to implement our digital analytics solutions

• Collaborate with site developers to modify the existing site or app data push infrastructure using tag management systems and inline code

• Perform/Advise quality assurance testing post-implementation using validation tools along with best practices

Qualifications

What You Have:

• Knowledge of software development standards, coding standards, and best practices

• Experience in front-end development with skills in JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, and JSON

• Excellent written skills, in English, for communicating with technical and non-technical users

• B.S. Degree: Engineering or a related quantitative discipline

• Experience in producing reference manuals, developer guides, and/or code samples

• A strong team mentality; and an ability to work independently.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• In-depth experience implementing our principal analytics platforms: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and/or Amplitude 

• Knowledge of Single-Page Applications development

• Knowledge of Mobile & Cross-Platform development.  Work experience with Firebase is a plus

• Experience with with our principal analytics tagging solutions: Google Tag Manager, Tealium iQ, and/or Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection
