Job Summary: YOU WILL SERVE AS A MANAGEMENT/PROGRAM ANALYST IN THE COMPTROLLER GROUP, FINANCIAL SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT, GENERAL FUNDS BUSINESS OFFICE DIVISION OF NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. This position may be filled at one of the following locations and salary will be set IAW the duty location pay table as follows: Patuxent River, MD-$120,579 - $156,755 Mechanicsburg, PA - $105,383 - $137,00 San Diego, CA - $120,381 - $156,497 Norfolk, VA - $106,950 - $139,036

Major Duties:

  • You will provide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) support including organizational management, personnel administration, structural authorization, training, time and attendance, audit requirements and master data maintenance.
  • You will be responsible for ticket management and resolution; interpreting and communicating system changes/upgrades; interpret policies and procedures and making business process recommendations for effective operations.
  • You will serve as the liaison to all Navy Commands under General Fund Business Office purview.
  • You will provide effective customer service and ensure appropriate feedback mechanisms are established and maintained.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SAP or equivalent enterprise resource planning system, including master data maintenance, organizational management, and time & attendance modules; Manage trouble tickets, analyzing system defects, and implementing solutions in a live production environment; Practical experience supporting data integrity verification; Experience defining data requirements, performing extracts using SAP, SQL, Access, or Excel, and generating actionable business intelligence; Proven track record of recommending and implementing process enhancements for efficiency and compliance; Familiarity with Navy ERP modules (or similar) to support immediate integration and issue resolution; Ability to interpret DoD/Navy policies, directives, and regulations relevant to General Fund Business Office (GFBO) operations; Strong oral and written communication to brief executives, write reports, and liaise with multiple commands; Ability to isolate problems, identify root causes, and recommend solutions that balance operational feasibility and mission needs; Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, external partners, and system users to ensure alignment and buy-in; Manage competing tasks, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing team efforts for maximum impact; Must have expert knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods applied to enterprise resource planning systems; Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Navy ERP/SAP strongly preferred) sufficient to troubleshoot issues, manage data, and support process improvements; Interpret and apply regulations and policies and make recommendations for operational improvements; Communicate effectively (oral and written) with senior leaders, stakeholders, and system users.
