Your day at NTT DATA
As a Managed Services Solutions Leader, you will shape and deliver innovative solutions across infrastructure, cloud, security, and applications. Your role is pivotal in designing end-to-end service offerings, building operational models, and ensuring seamless integration with global delivery centers. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to define service catalogs, SLAs, KPIs, and transformation roadmaps that drive operational excellence and business value.
You will lead complex multi-tower managed services deals, supporting the full sales cycle from solution design to contract execution. This includes crafting architectures, pricing models, and transition plans for large-scale engagements. Beyond solutioning, you will champion governance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging automation, analytics, and AI-driven operations to optimize service delivery.
Your day will also involve engaging with client stakeholders to assess talent needs, manage resource strategies, and ensure alignment with global best practices. By combining technical expertise with commercial acumen, you will help clients achieve cost efficiency, operational resilience, and strategic transformation across their IT landscape.
Key responsibilities:
Managed Services Offering Design (Infrastructure, Security, Cloud & Applications)
- Design and package managed services offerings across:
- IT Infrastructure Operations (NOC/NMS)
- Cybersecurity Operations (SOC/MSSP)
- Cloud Managed Services (Azure, AWS, Hybrid)
- Application Managed Services (AMS)
- Application Testing / QA Managed Services
- End-User Services / Workforce Support
- Develop end-to-end service catalogs, SLAs, KPIs, service tiers, runbooks, and operational workflows.
- Align offerings with NTT DATA’s global frameworks, best practices, accelerators, tooling, and automation platforms.
- Build blended onshore/offshore operational models leveraging global delivery centers.
Driving Complex Managed Services Deals
- Lead multi-tower solutioning for complex enterprise managed service opportunities.
- Build custom architectures, costing models, pricing structures, and transformation roadmaps.
- Support the sales cycle: RFP/RFI responses, client presentations, negotiations, and solution defense stages.
- Articulate TCO reduction, operational efficiency, automation gains, and strategic value.
- Design transition and transformation plans for multi-year managed service contracts.
Application Managed Services (AMS) Solutioning
- Define AMS offerings covering incident, enhancement, release management, DevOps support, and performance monitoring.
- Map application portfolios, identify modernization opportunities, and outline delivery models (ITIL/DevOps/Agile).
- Work with clients to optimize application footprints, reduce technical debt, and improve application stability.
- Align AMS offerings with global NTT DATA application service capabilities (legacy, ERP, cloud-native, integration, etc.).
Application Testing & Quality Engineering
- Design managed testing services including:
- Functional testing
- Automation testing
- Performance testing
- Security testing
- Regression and continuous testing models
- Utilize NTT DATA’s global QE accelerators, frameworks, automation suites, and offshore testing labs.
- Define service models for continuous testing in DevOps environments.
Talent, Skills & Resource Management (Client-Facing)
- Conduct skill-gap assessments and workforce capability evaluations with client stakeholders.
- Work with clients to define needed skillsets, staffing models, and hybrid delivery options.
- Support interviewing, resource selection, and onboarding processes for managed services teams.
- Leverage NTT DATA’s global talent pool for specialized skills (cloud, cybersecurity, DevOps, application, testing).
Collaboration with Global Delivery Centers
- Define seamless operating models integrating UAE onshore teams with NTT DATA’s offshore/nearshore delivery centers.
- Establish clear workflows for ticket routing, escalations, 24/7 monitoring, reporting, and governance.
- Ensure global delivery compliance with SLAs, KPIs, contract terms, and quality metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using automation, analytics, and AI-driven operations.
Governance, Compliance & Service Excellence
- Establish governance models: monthly/quarterly service reviews, performance dashboards, SLA reporting.
- Ensure adherence to industry frameworks such as ISO, NIST, MITRE, ITIL, COBIT, Agile/DevOps.
- Identify operational gaps and propose optimization or transformation initiatives.
- Design customer journey maps and operational maturity models.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:- Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, NOC operations, endpoint management
- Cybersecurity operations, SIEM/SOAR/EDR/XDR platforms
- Public cloud operations (Azure, AWS)
- Application support/AMS, application modernization
- Testing services and automation tooling
- ITSM, ITIL, and operational governance
- Familiarity with RMM/NMS tools, ticketing systems, SIEM/SOAR, DevOps toolchains, and automation frameworks
- Experience designing large-scale managed service financial models and pricing structures.
- Ability to translate technical service operations into business value and outcome-based models.
- Strong commercial acumen in multi-year service contracts and transformation deals.
- Skilled in RFP response writing, proposal creation, bid defense, and negotiation.
Academic qualifications and certifications:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Business Administration or related field.
- ITIL certification is advantageous.
Required experience:- 8 –15+ years in Managed Services, MSP/MSSP, Application Services, or Service Architecture roles.
- Prior experience driving large enterprise managed service deals in the UAE is highly preferred.
- Strong exposure to global/offshore delivery operations.
- Certifications in cloud, cybersecurity, ITIL, or applications (Azure/AWS, ITILv4, CISSP, PMP, etc.) are beneficial
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced pre-sales environments.
- Analytical thinker with strong documentation and solutioning capabilities.
- Collaborative and able to lead cross-regional delivery teams.
