Ketjen is seeking an I/E Supervisor to support our Catalyst business at the Bayport facility in Pasadena, Texas.
Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Directly supervising employees in the I/E Department.
Coordination of daily maintenance activities.
Manage work notifications and work orders in SAP.
Provides technical leadership to the I&E group.
Communicate with Operations Department to properly schedule maintenance activities.
Maintain safety and environmental performance.
Drive employee performance and development.
Education and Experience Required:
Minimum 10 years’ experience maintaining, troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and testing instrument and electrical equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Ability to drive safety culture throughout the organization.
Ability to ensure Mechanical and Electrical continuity.
Experience with planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
Demonstrated ability to implement safety initiatives and monitor safety awareness of crew regarding housekeeping, daily activities, and management of change.
Willingness to recommend and initiate innovative costs saving solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, direct the activity of others, assess skills of team and delegate work assignments.
Design and troubleshooting knowledge of electric motors and related equipment including motor starters, motor protection relay, and variable frequency drives.
Design and troubleshooting knowledge of electrical process controls, instrumentation (pressure, level, flow, temperature) and burner management systems.
Must be well versed in applicable codes, government regulations, and safety standards, pertaining to electrical systems such as NFPA (70, 70E).
Must be self-motivated and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interface effectively with wide range of technical, analytical, and managerial personnel.
Ability to lead execution of work and resolve technical engineering and operational issues in a cross-functional team environment.
