Maintenance Technician

Perform routine repairs and refurbishment on mobile storage equipment by
following standard procedures and work instructions.
• Perform repetitive repairs following standard procedures: door and
lock adjustments, minor hardware replacement, basic caulking and
sealing, paint touch ups, general interior/exterior repairs, repair of
subfloor, tile, roof, walls, doors, windows, swapping wheels, tires and
axels, etc.
• Complete general maintenance tasks: filter replacement, cleaning
and preparation etc.
• Follow standard work instructions and checklists for all repair
activities
• Remove and install decals and equipment numbers
• Complete assignments as documented on Work Orders within
established timeframes
• Escalate non standard issues or complex diagnostics to other
technicians or management
• Complete equipment inspections and documentation accurately using
required mobile applications.

• Report equipment condition, damage, or maintenance needs
requiring advanced repair
• Tag equipment according to company standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment by following 5S
and safety practices
• Follow Mobile Storage and United Rentals 5S guidelines
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and supplies
• Use appropriate PPE and operate tools safely
• Participate in Safety Huddles and report safety observations
• Store tools, supplies, and Workplace Ready Solutions in proper and
secure place
• Provide operational support in the yard, shop, and at customer sites as
needed
• Perform service calls for general repairs on customer sites; assist on
more advanced service calls with guidance from other technicians
• Set up of mobile offices on delivery
• Operate forklift and material handling equipment safely
• Assist with equipment staging and yard organization as needed
• Install/uninstall Workplace Ready Solutions (WRSs) according to
specifications with minimal supervision/guidance for standard tasks
• Show and exhibit fleet to customers when needed
