Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

To work in a food manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement installation, modification, and repair of equipment.
  • Ensure machinery and electrical equipment operation by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Locate sources of problems by observing electrical devices in operation.
  • Remove defective parts by dismantling devices.
  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level.
  • Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, regulations & GMPs for the facility

Experience, Skills, Education:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of general maintenance experience in a commercial environment is required.
  • Demonstrated Organizational Skills.
  • Good Math Skills.
  • Knowledge about AC/DC Drives.
  • Experience with PLCs is Preferred.
  • Certified in Lockout/Tagout  Procedures.
  • Reading/Comprehension Abilities.
  • Ability to Work Independently.
  • Ability to Identify Problems and Respond Accordingly.
     

Compensation:

Base Pay Range:

$22.21 - $37.01

Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity. Please keep in mind that we consider internal pay equity and hiring at the maximum of the salary range uncommon.
