Summary:

Maintenance Tech II will perform a variety of skilled journey-level duties which involves inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and installation.

Essential Duties:

  • Resolves daily technical issues and repair breakdowns and malfunctions
  • Maintains equipment and machinery compliance with operating standards and process specifications
  • Maintains preventative maintenance schedules
  • Support and maintain facility systems
  • Troubleshooting, problem solving, and modifications or upgrades on electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery and equipment
  • Provide support for Programmable Logic Controllers and robots
  • Assist in installing new electronic/electrical control equipment
  • Repair and replace motors, pulleys, and conveyors
  • Setup and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools
  • Other duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to become forklift certified
  • At least three years of applicable position experience
  • Applicable training or certification program in equivalent field (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Tech)
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Solid computer, math, and reading skills
  • Maintain competency to perform task independently or as a team
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processes
  • Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly
  • Ability to communicate with leadership and fellow team members in both written and verbal forms at a level above standard

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive manufacturing
  • High School Diploma/GED
