Position Summary

This role exists to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operations by leading a high-performing maintenance team focused on maximizing equipment uptime and operational efficiency.

The Maintenance Supervisor drives preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, rapidly resolves equipment issues, and ensures all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems operate at peak performance. This role partners closely with operations to align maintenance activities with production needs while minimizing downtime.

A core focus is building a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement—ensuring strict compliance with safety standards and promoting proactive risk management. The role also oversees maintenance planning, spare parts readiness, cost control, and accurate documentation to support data-driven decision-making.

Through hands-on leadership, training, and development, this position strengthens team capability and transforms maintenance into a strategic function that protects assets, improves reliability, and sustains operational excellence.

Job Description

  • Supervise Maintenance Team
    Lead, schedule, and support technicians and mechanics; assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

  • Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
    Develop and enforce maintenance programs to minimize downtime, including routine inspections and condition monitoring.

  • Troubleshooting & Repairs
    Oversee diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Safety Compliance
    Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards (e.g., OSHA regulations), conduct safety meetings, and enforce safe work practices.

  • Equipment Reliability & Performance
    Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to increase uptime and efficiency.

  • Planning & Scheduling
    Coordinate maintenance schedules with production teams to avoid disruption; manage shutdowns and emergency repairs.

  • Inventory & Spare Parts Management
    Maintain stock of critical spare parts and tools; work with procurement to ensure availability.

  • Budgeting & Cost Control
    Track maintenance expenses, control costs, and assist in budget planning.

  • Documentation & Reporting
    Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and reports; analyze data to identify recurring issues.

  • Training & Development
    Train staff on equipment, safety procedures, and new technologies; mentor junior technicians..
