In this role, you will have direct impact on the reliability and performance of our Hitchcock, TX facility—ensuring operations run safely, efficiently, and at peak performance.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure efficient performance of equipment and facilities.
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing mentorship, training, and support.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues or potential problems.
Manage the maintenance budget, including procurement of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with other departments to support production and operational goals.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.
Implement and lead a preventive maintenance program to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the risk of breakdowns.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field, preferred.
Experience as a Maintenance leader or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and standard methodologies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
This role involves pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, stooping, kneeling and crawling.
