Job Description:
Your Role on Our Team
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures and perform preventive maintenance while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
- Repair Injection molding machines, robots, fixtures, and other auxiliary equipment related to the injection molding process.
- Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment.
- Identify and requisition needed replacement parts and supplies.
- Work with other mechanics, production personnel, engineers and outside vendors and/or consultants as necessary.
- Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Complete repairs timely and safely.
- Report repairs at end of shift.
- Complete required paperwork, documenting parts and material usage.
- Understand and follow plant safety practices and safe machine operation.
The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot automation PLC controls.
- Ability to operate lathes, milling machines, welders, and other shop equipment.
- General knowledge of safe working practices including Lock-Out/Tag Out.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to interpret complex situations and execute actions and plans.
- Excellent project management skills – ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work in a cross functional organization.
