Job Details:
his position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet.
Requires standing for long periods of time.
Position requires standing, walking, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, pulling or lifting over 40 lbs. and climbing up and down stairs and ladders above 10 feet.
Position requires being a member of the Plant Hazmat Team.
Requires completing computer-based training and entering work into the SAP system.
Position requires using LOTO, Fall Protection, Ladders, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks.
Proficiency in reading and writing, ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
Current maintenance techs will have first consideration over other applicants.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Pay is commensurate with experience.
