The hourly range for this role, based in Fort Smith, is $21.50 to $26.75. The range may vary if the role outside of this location.  Base hourly rate are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary:

Responsible for coordination of Maintenance Department activities including capital projects, training, performance tracking, and maintaining standard maintenance procedures, equipment records, drawings, and files. This position requires good organizational, computer, and communication skills.

Accountabilities:

Maintenance Project Coordination

  • Coordinate Maintenance Projects to Ensure timeline, budgetary, quality, safety, environmental, and performance targets and objectives are met.
  • All aspects of projects are completed within applicable internal and external safety, environmental, quality, regulatory requirements, and codes.
  • Project documentation is current and accurate.
  • Project output meets customer requirements.

Maintenance Contractor Coordination

  • Select, Evaluate, and Supervisor on site contractors.  For example, landscaping and lawncare, HVAC, general facility maintenance, etc.

Maintenance Documentation

  • Equipment, Vendor, and Contractor Records are maintained
  • Records are kept up to date and organized.
  • Files are kept electronically in Engineering project file location.

Maintenance Standards Coordination

  • Department ISO Training and Documentation kept up to date. 
  • Other maintenance administrative duties completed as needed.

Maintenance Procurement

  • Oversee the procurement of services, supplies, repair and replacement parts, leases, software, and maintenance department purchases.

Create and Update Part Drawings and Layouts

  • Create new drawings using calipers, micrometer, and other tools such as AutoCAD programs.
  • Update existing drawings based on mark-ups.

EH&S

  • Support the Pernod Ricard Safety Culture initiative and report any safety risk or concerns to department management.
  • Must follow written PPE requirements and abide by all safety guidelines outlined in procedures and work instructions.
  • Employees are required to report all accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately. These would include all non-disabling and disabling injuries and occupational illnesses, fatalities, fires, and explosions, property damage, chemical spills, and any incident having the potential for property damage or personal injury.
  • Achieve the corporate objective on lost time accident.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Required: Two plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment with project management experience, plant maintenance, and/or AutoCAD are preferred.

Experience/Background:  

  • Strong skills in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint. 
  • Project planning, coordination with contractors, maintenance, and other departments.
  • Strong organizational and record keeping skills. 
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment such as conveyors, pumps, filtration systems, cleaners, fillers, capers, labelers, packers, material handling systems, etc.
  • Knowledge of safety hazards and appropriate precautions applicable to work assignments.  

Technical Functional Skills:

  • AutoCAD skills. Familiar with MS Project.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from files, drawings, catalogs, reports and manuals.
  • Experience with Lean and Six Sigma.

  • Producing quality products with a focus on customer satisfaction and cost-effective operations.
  • Identifying and reducing product safety risks and practicing good manufacturing practices.
  • Practicing safety awareness and safe work practices to ensure the health, safety and welfare of employees, contractors and visitors: by identifying and reducing safety risks, maintaining a clean work environment, and practicing good health, hygiene, and safety practices.
  • Protection of the environment through recycling, minimizing waste, and conservation of natural resources.

Working Conditions:

  • General Office: Work is performed in a typical office environment.  Limited demands for movement and lifting.  Normal visual, hearing and language acuity required for correspondence and computer usage. 

Travel:

  • Occasional travel is required. Estimate less than 5 % of time.
