What you'll be doing:

  • Provide maintenance support to the Workshop and Mechanical Team with a practical, hands on approach to support any maintenance task that requires assistance

  • This role includes various attributes, skills and abilities to operate in a safe environment. All procedures are to be followed where given and this will form part of becoming a safe working culture and driving self discipline

  • Engage directly with the Mechanical Engineers to provide support

  • Provide feedback to the Workshop Supervisor and Workshop Manager on any out of the normal day to day activities that may impact on the program of works, which may cause concerns or harm to yourself and colleagues.

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day upkeep and general maintenance of the workshop and wider site, ensuring all areas are kept in a good state of repair, clean, tidy and well presented at all times. 

  • Carry out general handyman tasks across the site as required, including but not limited to minor repairs, painting, fixing, replacing or reporting any defects or deterioration to fixtures, fittings and facilities to ensure the site remains in good working order.
