Operates at least one major piece of equipment on any of the packaging lines.
Conducts minor Preventive Maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, inspections, and adjustments).
Assists Mechanics/Line Technicians with performing Planned Maintenance.
Performs all daily basic safety checks and observations, quality checks, checklists, and housekeeping.
Clears equipment jams.
Ensures compliance with the recycling process for empty component boxes.
Utilizes computer interface panels to operate the equipment.
Maintains equipment and performs full changeovers, washouts, and sanitizations.
Adheres to SOP and GMP requirements.
Wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and follows all safety procedures per the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Reports safety hazards, quality issues, and production concerns to supervision immediately.
Participates in all job‑related safety, quality, and equipment training.
Complies with all Church & Dwight Co., Inc. policies, procedures, and NJ laws.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Trains other operators as required.
Able to communicate, read, and write in English.
Demonstrates teamwork and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
Ability to take and follow directions.
Basic math skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Basic computer skills.
Maintains a good safety record.
High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
