Job Description
The Machine Operator sets up and operates automatic or semi‑automatic machines used in the production of company products. The role follows process sheets and written or verbal instructions from the supervisor to complete production tasks. The Machine Operator checks and inspects machine operations to ensure output meets defined quality standards and tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate automatic or semi‑automatic production machines according to process sheets and work instructions
- Perform production tasks safely, efficiently, and in line with standard operating procedures
- Monitor machine performance during operation and make basic adjustments as needed
- Inspect parts and finished products to verify they meet specified quality standards and tolerances
- Identify and report deviations, defects, or equipment issues to the supervisor
- Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational guidelines
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- Experience operating production or manufacturing equipment, or willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks against defined standards
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in a production environment and perform repetitive tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing/production setting
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools or measurement equipment
- Experience working with process sheets or standardized work instructions
