The Opportunity:

The M365 Platform Owner will serve as the enterprise leader for our Microsoft 365 ecosystem, guiding how collaboration, productivity, and automation tools support our business. This role blends product leadership, platform governance, and cross‑functional influence to ensure the organization gets maximum value from its M365 investment. You will set the strategic direction, enable adoption, and ensure the platform remains secure, well‑managed, and aligned with business priorities. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Define the enterprise vision and roadmap for Microsoft 365, ensuring the platform evolves with organizational needs.
  • Partner with cyber, infrastructure, architecture, and business leaders to align M365 with governance, compliance, and security expectations.
  • Lead adoption and change-enablement strategies to drive successful use of M365 capabilities across the company.
  • Establish and manage platform KPIs, operational insights, and business-focused performance metrics.
  • Guide the rollout of new capabilities, ensuring they support enterprise strategy and deliver measurable value.
  • Oversee overall platform health, readiness, and service reliability, coordinating with technical teams as needed.
  • Set and manage licensing and capacity strategies to support financial stewardship and business planning.
  • Evaluate emerging Microsoft cloud capabilities and advise leadership on opportunities for innovation.
  • Support major cross-functional programs, migrations, and transformation initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft, internal stakeholders, and vendor partners.
  • Work closely with CIO leadership to shape enterprise collaboration and productivity priorities.
  • Collaborate across technology and business areas to resolve complex, multiteam challenges.
  • Provide coaching and direction to junior members within the Technical Product Engineering job family.
  • Represent the M365 platform in governance bodies, architecture reviews, and CIO forums.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience leading, managing, or administrating Microsoft 365 platforms or services
  • Experience driving platform governance, data protection, or compliance alignment
  • Experience with automation or low-code capabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Experience managing platforms or products with enterprise-wide impact
  • Ability to interpret analytics or operational insights to inform decision-making
  • Ability to translate business needs into platform strategies, roadmaps, and requirements
  • Ability to engage senior leaders and non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with identity and access governance or Zero Trust principles
  • Experience with cloud‑based automation, DevOps approaches, or platform‑as‑product practices
  • Experience leading enterprise change management or adoption programs
  • Knowledge of collaboration governance concepts within Teams or SharePoint
  • Possession of strong communication skills
  • Microsoft Certifications such as MS‑900, MS‑700, MS‑102, SC‑900, or PL‑900 Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $142,900.00 to $266,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
