Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join our team as the LTAMDS Poland I&T Lead within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting the LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars.
This role is primarily located in Tewksbury MA with secondary locations of Andover MA and Pelham NH.
Every day will bring new challenges, requiring you to work across disciplines to troubleshoot issues, perform system maintenance, and implement solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the success of mission-critical defense systems, and you'll have a hands-on role in ensuring the entire system functions seamlessly.
What You Will Do:
In this Senior Principal Systems Engineer role, you will support the following types of activities:
Responsible for cost, schedule, and execution for LTAMDS systems integration, verification and validation scope for Poland
Lead development and reporting of proposal costing efforts for systems integration, verification and validation scope and coordinate total SI&T scope proposal approvals
Ensure application of technical processes in Test Readiness Reviews, Engineering Review Boards, Configuration Control Boards, etc.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team leaders and engineers within the systems integration & test team
Support and execute First Article Inspections (FAI) for all major end items to ensure compliance with design specifications and program requirements.
Develop, coordinate, and conduct Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for each major end item to validate system functionality and performance.
Perform verification of system and program requirements, ensuring all deliverables meet contractual, technical, and quality standards.
Plan and conduct Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) for each major end item to review technical progress, resolve issues, and align stakeholders.
Support the integration of the LTAMDS radar system into the WISLA and IBCS System of Systems, ensuring interoperability and operational readiness.
Provide flight test support, including test planning, pre-flight analysis, and on-site support during flight test events.
Support laboratory activities for LTAMDS/S, including system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
Work regularly across functions, engineering disciplines, and Program Management
Travel as required to meet programmatic objectives. Regular travel between multiple Raytheon locations in Massachusetts is required. Occasional domestic and potential international travel.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
Experience leading a team of engineers with varying levels of expertise
Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
