[LTA-T&ID] SENIOR EXECUTIVE / EXECUTIVE, PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT
[What you will be working on]
As the Centre for Autonomous Mobility ramps up simultaneous on-ground initiatives, we are looking for a dedicated engagement professional to be the face of our Autonomous Vehicle (AV) projects. You will be responsible for building community trust, managing diverse stakeholders, and ensuring that our technical progress is matched by public readiness and socialization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation
- On-Ground Presence: Facilitate and host engagement sessions directly at project sites to socialize AV initiatives.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Communicate complex information regarding AV technology and safety efforts in a clear, accessible manner to diverse groups (agencies, organisations and member of public).
Relationship Building: Conduct multiple rounds of engagement to build long-term rapport with the community and address localized concerns.2. Creative Engagement Design
• Gamification & Innovation: Develop creative approaches including gamified learning experiences that make AV technology concepts more accessible and memorable for different audience segments.
- Dynamic Event Planning: Organise and execute community events, and roadshows that generate excitement and curiosity about AV initiatives whilst addressing public concerns in an engaging format.
2. Progress Tracking & Insights
- Data-Driven Outreach: Maintain and update consistent trackers for engagement outreach efforts and outcomes.
- Feedback Loop: Collect on-ground insights and community feedback to provide recommendations for adjusting project strategies.
- Reporting: Contribute to regular progress updates for internal stakeholders and management.

- Knowledge in any discipline.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills. You should be comfortable speaking to both large crowds and in one-on-one settings.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexibly across various project sites and adjust your approach based on real-time community needs.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to track multiple engagement touchpoints and maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge/Interest: A keen interest in future-ready technologies, transport mobility, or urban planning is a plus.
- Prior Experience: Experience in public relations, community grassroots work, or public sector engagement is highly preferred.
