[What the role is]
[LTA-RAOM] SENIOR / EXECUTIVE / ENGINEER (AMDA - DATA STRATEGY & SYSTEM)[What you will be working on]
You will be part of the rail data strategy team to drive data governance initiatives and establish data management frameworks that ensure data quality, consistency and compliance to support the asset management functions.
You will work closely with teams from different discipline within LTA, rail operators, contractors as well as system manufacturers to define, maintain and ensure adherence to data management policies and standards on the associated asset data and information in the rail network. You will also develop and implement data assessment framework and work with stakeholders to remediate data issues. You are also required to review technical submissions and participate in the installation, testing and commissioning for any relevant asset data management system.
[What we are looking for]
• Knowledge in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering or equivalent
• Strong understanding of data governance framework
• Strong writing, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with critical and logical thinking capability and must be able to work independently
• Relevant knowledge and working experience will be an advantage:
- Railway system design, operation and maintenance
- Data governance/quality management and/or similar roles
- Asset Management and/or Maintenance management software solutions, processes and implementation.
