THE JOB:
The Lounge Server at Luxor delivers exceptional, personalized service in an upscale lounge environment. This role is responsible for taking and serving beverage orders with precision and efficiency while creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.
THE STARTING RATE: $14.4497 Hourly + Tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Complete opening side duties fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies
Knowledge of liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available on the casino floor
Knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink
Communicate order into system through Bartender; ensure transmission is verified
Knowledge of Hotel services and features as well as local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries
Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management; notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
21+ years of age
6+ Months of prior relevant experience as a Cocktail and/or food server in a similar environment preferred
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
Cash-handling experience preferred
