About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Team Leader, that’s not scared to roll their sleeves up, to join our team at our Cheltenham plant. This role is perfect for an engaged and supportive individual who is passionate about logistics and supply chain operations. As the Logistics Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective distribution of our products, contributing to our mission of making the world a better place.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the team of 5 logistics staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

  • Oversee logistics activities including inventory control, warehousing, transportation, logistics planning, order processing, and customer service.

  • Implement strategies to optimise logistics processes and improve efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Analyse data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Our ideal candidate may have:

  • Proven experience in logistics or managing supply chain teams.

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using distribution software and tools, preferably SAP

  • Current forklift ticket, though not essential

This role is Monday – Friday 5am to 1.30pm
