Logistics Manager (Ref.No. R1012272)
at our location in Philippines
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all logistics operations in the Philippines (with particular focus on TELECOMUNICATIONS and AFC equipment.) Oversees international and domestic shipments from global manufacturers and suppliers (Europe, the USA, Asia, and other regions). Also manages domestic logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, transportation management, and reverse logistics. Ensures cost-effective, efficient, and compliant processes aligned with company policies and Filipino regulations.
Coordination of the logistics and imports with the Consortium members, the subcontractors, the customer (Mitsubishi Corporation), and the end customer (DoTr of the Philippines)
You will enjoy having these responsibilities:
1. International Logistics & Import Management
• Manage end-to-end import operations from Asia, Europe, the USA, and global suppliers.
• Plan and coordinate ocean, air, and rail freight (including China Rail Freight).
• Review import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, B/L, AWB, COO, HS Codes, permits, tax, and customs exemption documents).
• Work with freight forwarders, shipping lines, purchase order issuers, and customs brokers.
• Ensure Filipino customs compliance and clearance.
• Optimize lead times and the costs for warehousing, transport, and freight.
• Ensure, along with the freight forwarder, the accuracy of the import files for customs auditing.
2. Local Logistics & Warehouse Operations
• Oversee receiving, inventory, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching.
• Improve warehouse layout and processes.
• Manage domestic transport with carriers, subcontractors, 3PLs, and service providers.
• Monitor on-time delivery aligned with KPIs.
• Manage the DMT for the POs and issuance of materials to the work orders.
• Answer to the Comply Pro requirements related to logistics
3. Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination
• Coordinate shipment schedules with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Maintain relationships with freight forwarders, 3PLs, shipping and Air lines, brokers.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Production, HSE, Quality, DMT).
4. Logistics Planning & Cost Optimization
• Analyze costs, freight rates, warehouse costs, and supply chain flows.
• Negotiate in coordination with purchasing, with service providers.
• Monitor and report KPIs (OTIF, lead time, cost per unit, inventory accuracy).
5. Inventory & Data Management
• Ensure accurate inventory via cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Maintain ERP/WMS data (Excel and DMT).
• Prepare and present reports.
6. Reverse Logistics
• Manage returns, repairs, replacements, and disposal.
• Coordinate customer returns with service teams.
• Oversee domestic/international return transport.
• Ensure compliant disposal/recycling.
7. Compliance, Safety & Continuous Improvement
• Ensure adherence to the Philippines customs and import/export laws.
• Implement, in coordination with the HSE Manager, the warehouse and transport safety standards.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen, 5S improvement projects.
You have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–8 years logistics experience, especially imports from Europe, USA, Asia.
• Preferably accredited by the Filipino Customs Officer board
• Strong knowledge of international logistics, freight operations, Filipino customs.
• Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills

• Reverse logistics management
• Supply chain cost optimization
• Stakeholder & vendor management
• Cross-functional communication & coordination
• Must be proficient in English and Tagalog due to the nature of the role, which requires communication with local suppliers/stakeholders
