The Role
The Finished Vehicle Logistics Analytics Group is looking for a qualified candidate who is an expert at turning data into knowledge. This job will include directly developing solutions for customers as well as leading projects with both internal and external partners to enhance the business’s analytics capability. Your efforts will directly contribute to our overarching goals of enhancing inventory visibility, reducing enterprise costs, streamlining transit times, minimizing vehicle damage, and ultimately, boosting customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
Lead analytics projects with key stakeholders in information technology, purchasing, operations, finance, sales and marketing, and external service providers
Lead Finished Vehicle forecasting process
Build and automate analytics tools to assist in key goals
Utilize predictive analytics to assist in future network planning
Support the business with ad hoc data mining
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
2+ years relevant work experience in purchasing, supply chain, program/product management, logistics or product development (any internship or co-op experience will not be considered)
High level analytical ability in situations where the problems are complex and ambiguous
Candidate must process a passion for continuous improvement
SQL (Expert)
Python
Machine learning
Database Design
Visualization Software (Power BI, Tableau)
Project Management
Forecasting
Comprehensive statistics knowledge
High level oral and written communications skills
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, computer science, information technology, or related field
Knowledge of Finished Vehicle Logistics forecasting process
Knowledge of MARS and other Finished Vehicle Logistics data sets
Experience with ETL and data analysis software (Alteryx, Knime)
Databricks knowledge
AI agent expertise
Data Science Master’s degree or certification
