Title: Logistics Coordinator – Temperature-Control and Monitoring

Location: Warsaw

Hybrid Model: 3 days per week from office

At AstraZeneca, every medicine we deliver starts with a reliable, expertly managed supply chain. Our Clinical Manufacturing & Supply (CM&S) organisation ensures that investigational medicines reach patients participating in clinical trials across the world; safely, compliantly, and on time.

Within CM&S, our Clinical Logistics team plays a critical role in managing global distribution activities, temperature‑controlled shipments, and the end‑to‑end logistics that keep our clinical supply chains moving.

We’re now looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team and support the delivery of high‑quality, right‑first‑time clinical distribution operations.

What you’ll do

As part of the Clinical Logistics team and reporting to the Associate Director, you’ll support day‑to‑day logistics activities across a portfolio of clinical studies. Your work will help ensure medicines reach depots and investigator sites on time, in full, and under the correct temperature conditions.

You will:

  • Help ensure logistics lead times, First Subject In (FSI) dates and Right‑First‑Time targets are met
  • Provide Temperature excursion management for all studies in the Clinical Supply Chain
  • Contribute learning into improving the way that excursions are managed
  • Coordinate with external logistics partners to ensure shipments are executed accurately and on schedule
  • Manage and respond to queries received through the excursion mailboxes
  • Contribute to operational performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives, including owning smaller improvement projects
  • Support the development and maintenance of processes, tools, templates, guidance and training materials
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Build your own expertise in clinical logistics and temperature‑controlled distribution
  • Support the Senior Director, Clinical Logistics in delivering the wider clinical distribution strategy

Accountabilities

You will operate in line with AstraZeneca’s values, Code of Ethics, and all relevant policies and standards. This includes completing required training on time and raising any potential compliance concerns.

This role operates under SHE and GxP standards.

Essential Criteria

  • Education aligned with CV
  • Experience in temperature excursion management using the MonTe system
  • Experience in a supply chain or logistics environment
  • Strong desire to grow expertise within logistics and clinical supply
  • Analytical mindset with good problem‑solving skills
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Fluent English

Desirable Criteria

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related business discipline
  • Experience with lean methodologies and tools
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical or clinical supply chains
  • Knowledge of logistics industry regulations and government agency requirements for product distribution
