Join us as an IP Logic Design Engineer in a novel AI accelerator within Intel.

The Chip Design Engineer with IP expertise is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and verifying complex digital hardware (RTL using Verilog/SystemVerilog).

This role focuses on optimizing Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) for System-on-Chips (SoCs). It often involves working with specialized blocks, such as networking and RISC-V cores, and collaborating globally to ensure seamless IP integration and high quality. Strong skills in microarchitecture, scripting, and verification are essential for high-speed chip development.

This position is crucial throughout the silicon development lifecycle, from defining architecture to post-silicon validation.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Relevant experience in logic design, microarchitecture, and RTL coding.

  • Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.

  • Keen attention to detail and a passion for innovation to navigate the complexities of digital logic and bring abstract concepts to life.

  • Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.

  • A solid understanding of processor architecture and digital systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
