What is Lilly StarT?

Lilly StarT is a one-year talent program designed for junior and senior university students in relevant fields of study, offering an opportunity to join our business functions.

The program aims to grow exceptional talents who are eager to take ownership of their professional journey and emerge as future leaders in the pharma sector.

With Lilly StarT, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, engage with experts in the field, build strong relationships, and take an active role in project assignments — all while receiving on-the-job training, online and in-class development opportunities, and gaining hands-on experience.

Role: HR Intern

As an HR Intern, you will support the Human Resources team by:

·Assisting with core HR operations including recruitment, employer branding, onboarding, offboarding, HR systems, training programs, and personnel file management

·Supporting the HR team in end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, from hiring to exit, including documentation and follow-up activities

·Coordinating the onboarding of new hires and managing newcomer evaluations and probationary processes in a timely and structured manner

·Supporting recruitment processes such as interview coordination, candidate communication, and hiring documentation

·Assisting in the preparation, maintenance, and digitalization of employee records and personnel files in line with internal policies and legal requirements

·Helping track and report key HR metrics, dashboards, and trends

·Contributing to HR process improvement, AI, and automation projects, including data analysis and operational efficiency initiatives

·Supporting ad-hoc HR projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed

·Assisting the HR team in daily operational tasks and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

  • 3rd or 4th year university student in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable university

  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)

  • Strong planning, priority-setting, and organizational skills

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability

  • Proactive attitude with high learning agility and openness to coaching and feedback

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Resilience and adaptability in the face of change

  • Proficiency in MS Office programs and AI tools

  • Strong follow-up skills with attention to detail

  • Interest in human resources and people operations

  • Available to work full-time during the summer break and at least 3 days per week during the school term
