Cochlear is looking for a Life Cycle Manager – CI Product Portfolio to lead the strategic management of our Cochlear Implant (CI) product portfolio, including sound processors, implants, and software.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of hearing solutions by optimizing our Product Retirement Strategy and helping ensure our portfolio remains customer-centric and supports global business goals.

As the Life Cycle Manager, you will:

  • Lead the planning of product retirement strategies, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption across global markets. That includes the development, alignment and implementation of new organisational processes where required.

  • Partner with global and regional product management, supply planning, operations, customer service (and others) in managing the implementation and execution of product retirement plans.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise return-on-investment (ROI) particularly in the latter part of a product’s lifecycle.

  • Contribute to the commercial and launch strategies of future products, by developing product end-of-life strategies that ensure alignment with future Product and Services Plans.

  • Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to maximize value throughout the product lifecycle.

About You. As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers. To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in lifecycle or portfolio management.

  • Proven ability to manage complex product portfolios and lead cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong analytical, strategic, and commercial acumen.

  • Experience with PLM and analytics tools is a plus.
