The Strategic Account Executive (Director) is responsible for owning and growing one or more large, complex, strategic customer relationships. This role drives overall account strategy, executive engagement, revenue growth, and profitability across a broad portfolio of DXC offerings. The Strategic Account Executive acts as the single accountable leader for sales performance, pipeline development, and long-term account value, partnering closely with delivery, solution, and functional leaders to ensure an integrated, “one DXC” experience for the client.

The ideal candidate is a consultative seller and trusted advisor who can align client business objectives with enterprise solutions, navigate complex buying environments, and orchestrate internal teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

This role is essential to the organization’s success, requiring a leader who can:

What You´ll Do

Account Strategy & Growth

  • Own and drive the end-to-end account strategy for assigned strategic accounts, including multi-year growth plans, pipeline development, revenue expansion, margin, and retention.
  • Lead annual and quarterly account planning, ensuring alignment to client business priorities and DXC growth objectives.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities across the DXC portfolio, including complex, multi-tower and multi-year engagements.

Executive Client Partnership and Value Creation

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their industry, challenges, and strategic goals.
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite and executive-level decision makers.
  • Position DXC as a strategic partner by aligning solutions to client business outcomes, not just technology needs.
  • Partner with delivery, solution architecture, and product teams to ensure solutions meet client needs and deliver measurable business value.
  • Ensure client satisfaction, manage escalations, and proactively mitigate risks.

Financial & Commercial Accountability

  • Own portfolio/account-level financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, and overall account health.
  • Drive disciplined deal governance, pricing strategy, and commercial decision-making in partnership with finance and leadership.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy and pipeline integrity across short- and long-term horizons.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead and orchestrate virtual, cross-functional account teams spanning sales, delivery, solutions, finance, and operations.
  • Partner closely with delivery leadership to ensure strong execution, contractual compliance, and continuous service improvement.
  • Promote a “one team” culture across the account, ensuring clarity of roles, accountability, and outcomes.

Governance & Risk Management

  • Establish and lead robust account governance structures, including executive reviews, operational cadence, and escalation processes.
  • Proactively identify and manage commercial, delivery, and relationship risks, driving timely mitigation actions.
  • Ensure compliance with DXC policies, contractual obligations, and ethical standards.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of experience leading large, complex, strategic accounts within a global services, technology, or consulting environment - Life & Annuity Industry experienced
  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of consultative and solution‑based selling methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with C-suite executives and senior client stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience with large contracts, renewals, and multi-year agreements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience leading and influencing matrixed teams across sales, delivery, and functional organizations.
