SCOPE
The Legal Counsel provides direct legal support to internal stakeholders across business operations, contributing to contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and legal risk management. The role ensures that day-to-day activities align with national laws and Pluxee’s global legal standards.
This position acts as a legal business partner to commercial, operational, HR, and support teams by delivering clear, actionable legal advice in a fast-paced environment. The Legal Counsel also contributes to building a strong compliance and governance culture at the local level.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft, review, and negotiate standard and non-standard commercial contracts (e.g., with clients, merchants, suppliers, and partners).
- Provide day-to-day legal advice on local regulatory matters, contract law, labor law, and data protection issues.
- Assist with public tenders and procurement procedures by reviewing legal documents and providing eligibility guidance.
- Support legal documentation for governance activities, corporate filings, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with external counsel on legal proceedings, disputes, or complex advisory topics.
- Monitor local legal developments and provide updates to stakeholders and management.
- Support internal trainings and awareness initiatives on key legal topics (e.g., contracts, confidentiality, competition rules).
REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Master’s degree in Law; admission to the local bar is mandatory.
Work Experience
- 2–5 years of legal experience, preferably in-house or in a reputable law firm.
- Familiarity with commercial, labor, and regulatory law in the local market is essential.
Other Skills and Certifications
- Strong contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in handling public procurement procedures is a plus.
- Comfort working with multiple stakeholders in a business setting
Languages
- Fluency in the local language is mandatory; proficiency in English is considered a strong asset.
