Intel is looking for an experienced legal counsel, who will support deployment of all aspects of Intel's corporate strategy and operations in Ireland as well as other EMEA wide commercial matters. This position is ideal for a candidate with an adaptive, collaborative, and learning mindset, willing to partner closely with cross-jurisdictional legal and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional legal support for Intel.
This role will report to the Director of Legal, EMEA, within a newly established EMEA, APJ and China regional legal team. The role is based out of Intel's Ireland campus in Leixlip.
Key responsibilities will include:
Membership of the Ireland senior leadership team. A trusted advisor and strong example / influencer across the Ireland campus.
Providing advice on a wide and varying range of legal matters related to Intel's Ireland manufacturing and Research and Development operations, including regulatory compliance, employment , construction, real estate, facilities and utilities management, environmental health and safety, procurement and government incentives.
Providing advice on a wide and varying range of commercial legal matters in support of Intel's Ireland Research and Development operations and Intel's broader commercial strategy across EMEA, including collaboration agreements, software licensing topics, sales agreements, custom product and foundry transactions and government tenders.
Managing dispute resolutions, arbitrations or litigation.
Supporting site / corporate re-organizations.
Deployment of corporate and customized ethics, compliance and other legal trainings.
Collaboration and relationship building with external advisors and stakeholders (outside counsel, governments, research and industry institutions).
Involvement in team and department wide strategic initiatives.
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Qualified to practice as a Solicitor, regulated by the Law Society in Ireland
Minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience.
Preferred:
Fluency in any other European language.
