Te tūranga – The role
We are recruiting for a Legal Counsel - Legislation to join our busy Legal Services Directorate. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel - Legislation, you will provide expert legal advice. You will enjoy engaging with the legal, policy, and operational teams at the Reserve Bank to deliver results.
Ō pūkenga – About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
a proven ability to provide high quality and robust legal advice; and
experience with turning policy into law (including experience instructing PCO); and
an interest in financial regulation; and
high quality written and oral presentation and communication skills; and
the ability to build and maintain strong relationships to work in partnership with our policy and operational teams and with external lawyers, as required.
You must be eligible to hold a current New Zealand legal practising certificate.
