  • Develop curriculum, deliver courses related to media, animation, game art, game design and visual effects

  • Coach, mentor learners, and be involved in learner development activities

  • Lead and facilitate in student exchanges and study trips for both online and in-person modes where practicable

  • Assist in outreach activities for both online and in-person modes where practicable

  • Undertake academic administration and development of online learning materials

[What we are looking for]

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Applied Arts, Game Art, Game Design, Computer Animation, Visual Effects, Procedural Effects & Simulation, Virtual Production, Real-Time CG Production and Media Production

  • Relevant qualification in Applied Arts / Computer Art & Animation / Visual Effects / 3D Visualisation & Simulation / Game Art / Game Design / Technical Direction / Immersive Media & Technology or equivalent

  • Possess relevant knowledge in GUI, 2D Digital Art, 3D Asset Creation, Character Rigging, Procedural Modelling & Texturing, Fluid Simulation, Scripting and Project Management is a bonus

  • Proficient in software like Maya, Houdini, Blender, Unity3D, Unreal Engine, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Substance Painter, Unity3D, Unreal Engine, Nuke and ZBrush

  • Passionate in nurturing the next generation of multidisciplinary CG artists, Game artists, Game designers, VFX, tech artists and animators

  • Ability and agility to perform in a fast-paced environment, to adapt, multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Ability to people manage with pastoral care and empathy

  • Good communication, interpersonal, presentation and writing skill

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:

    • Foundation skills such as Art, Observational Drawing, Painting, Classical Animation, Colour & Design, Concept Ideation, Digital Painting & Illustration, Sculpting, etc.

    • 2D/3D Asset Creation

    • UI/UX Design

    • Game/Level Design

    • Technical Art/CG Lighting & Compositing/Look Development

    • Character Rigging/CG Animation

    • Procedural Effects & Simulation
