[What the role is]
You will be working in the School of Health & Social Sciences to plan, develop and teach health informatics/infocomm technology in healthcare modules for Pre-Employment Training (PET) and/or Continuing Education and Training (CET).
[What you will be working on]
- Design and deliver engaging lessons and develop high‑quality teaching and assessment materials for Pre‑Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education & Training (CET) learners on InfoComm Technology used in healthcare and social setting
- Provide academic guidance and pastoral support to students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to student development and outreach activities, including planning and accompanying students on overseas learning trips and related programmes.
- Manage and/or support the day‑to‑day operations of application systems such as student management system, ensuring reliability and effectiveness.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather user requirements, identify needs and propose practical, technology‑enabled solutions.
- Contribute to the School’s teaching and learning (T&L) initiatives and strategic digitalization efforts through participation in committees, projects, and cross‑functional collaborations.
[What we are looking for]
- Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics or a related discipline.
- A strong interest in emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and learning analytics and their application in education.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in healthcare domain.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate needs into effective solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in system administration and scripting skills will be an added advantage.
