The Leased Labor Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships and contracts with leased labor agencies. It is instrumental in sourcing for, placing, and monitoring our temporary labor force. Incumbent exercises discretion and business judgment to execute contracts, identify qualified temporary resources, and serve as a primary point of contact for the use of temporary labor. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite. Confidentiality is essential for this position.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources

Experience: 3 to 6 months of administrative experience in Human Resources or Operations

or

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 2 years of administrative experience in Human Resources or Operations

Travel: 0-5%

Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Builds relationships with leased labor agencies.
  • Negotiates rates with leased labor agencies.
  • Works with Risk Management to interpret, administer, and draft contracts pertaining to leased labor.
  • Assists with sourcing, screening, and placing leased labor based on workforce needs.
  • Tracks all leased employees' placement and performance.
  • Works with agencies to acquire required documentation including insurance, licensure, and safety certifications.
  • Works with Safety Department to ensure leased labor agencies and their team members are aligned with FTI’s policies and procedures.
  • Works with Planning & Scheduling department, operational leaders, and HR staff to understand current and future workforce needs, including leased labor and FTI manpower projections.
  • Attends weekly manpower meetings.
  • In addition to regular business hours, the specialist will be accessible and responsive to temporary labor, agencies, and operational leaders during evening and weekend hours.
