Position Overview
The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator operational effectiveness of the learning management system and those who use it within a complex global and matrixed organization. The LMS Administrator should be an effective problem solver with the ability to recognize and anticipate issues, identify, and solve tactical problems and translate solutions into meaningful plans at a functional and global scale. This position will support, implement, and maintain content, assets, reporting, and other resources used for instructional functions.
This role serves as a matrixed leader of functional system administrators.
Essential Duties
include but are not limited to the following:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, enhance, and maintain the LMS.
Partner with stakeholders to integrate the LMS with business priorities, initiatives, and other talent systems.
Author and test system wide reports related to system efficiency, adoption, completion status, and effectiveness of training solutions.
Use process improvement expertise to ensure successful, ongoing execution of system and implementation of best practices.
Partner with IT to manage security roles and permissions for selected administrators and provide appropriate level of training and support for their security role.
Collaborate with others to determine effective methods to package and deploy training based on ease of use, completion, and tracking requirements.
Lead the development, maintenance, and enforcement of processes and practices related to the use and administration of the LMS.
Monitor quarterly vendor releases to the LMS system, determine the impact of those releases, propose system configuration changes to account for system updates, and implement changes based on decisions.
Partner with the Learning Universe project team as the LMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure the team is informed of enhancements, updates, and possibilities; provide expertise for communications and enhancement launches.
Manage and respond to the ticketing system for errors and troubleshooting resolution.
Use process improvement expertise to ensure successful, ongoing execution of system and implementation of best practices.
Partner with functional system owners and administrators to improve UX of the system.
Analyze data and make recommendations based on learner trends, impact, and content consumption.
Provide technical assistance to learners and other system administrators.
Ability to quickly learn and apply structured techniques for applying Organizational Behavior, User Experience, Process Improvement, Design Thinking, Change Management and Leadership techniques to improve learner experience.
Manage multiple workstreams and projects through successful completion.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels in the organization.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or high school degree/general education diploma (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years of experience in training systems administration, LMS administrator, or similar role.
Demonstrated ability to create and manage the overall course structure and set up course programs.
Demonstrated ability to work in a regulated industry or rules-based system.
Proven track record of handling progressive levels of responsibility.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies, applications, software, and tools.
Demonstrated proficiency with Cornerstone OnDemand and Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of development tools; demonstrated ability to work with instructional designers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to learning solution content.
