The Human Resources department is looking for a Learning & Development Intern to join their team in Eden Prairie!
Position Summary:
The Learning & Development (L&D) Intern will play a pivotal role within our Human Resources team, contributing significantly to the conceptualization, creation, and internal promotion of comprehensive employee growth programs. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend instructional design with strategic internal marketing, ensuring that our corporate learning initiatives are both high-impact and widely adopted. Key contributions include the development of modern curriculum assets and the execution of creative communication campaigns to drive employee engagement with L&D resources. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional corporate departments to deliver seamless educational experiences that align with Cambria’s business objectives and culture.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Complete and present a capstone project related to department business needs. This will include research, analysis, and presenting the overall findings and suggestions to peers and Cambria Leaders.
Leverage instructional design principles to assist in building and launching engaging learning modules and training materials tailored for diverse corporate audiences.
Work collaboratively with the HR and Marketing departments to develop and execute internal communication strategies that promote new and existing learning paths.
Partner with various corporate departments to identify knowledge gaps and assist in the optimization of specialized training content.
Monitor and report on the performance of internal marketing campaigns to enhance user engagement and drive higher completion rates for training programs.
Work collaboratively with the HR team to audit and update the existing code base of digital learning assets, ensuring information remains accurate and relevant.
Assist in the organization and implementation of live or virtual training sessions, ensuring a consistent and professional brand voice across all touchpoints.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and best practices for developing effective educational content.
Excellent knowledge of internal communication strategies, including the ability to create compelling messaging that "sells" the value of learning to employees.
Proven ability to work effectively across functions, with the interpersonal skills needed to gather requirements from different business units.
Aptitude and eagerness to learn new software and solve challenges related to content delivery and user adoption.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented commitment to quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's program in Human Resources or a related program. Expected graduation date of 2026, 2027, and 2028.
Experience: Some experience in a related field preferred.
Systems: Google Suites, Adobe, Canva, Workday or similar HRIS software.

Travel Requirements: Limited travel locally (Eden Prairie, Le Sueur, and Belle Plaine)
Physical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use. Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally / sparingly (office supplies, packages, samples). May need to bend, reach, walk, or stoop occasionally. Prolonged periods sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer
Program Dates: May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026; M-F; 40 hour work week
This position pays $18.00 per hour and requires a daily in-office presence; please note that relocation and housing assistance are not provided.
