JOB TITLE: Lead System Engineering

JOB LOCATION: 500 North Point Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30005

           

DUTIES: Design scalable, high-performance, and reliable system architectures and platforms with complex interdependencies. Translate business and architecture requirements into detailed technical solutions across platform, network, software, and cloud infrastructure. Utilize Azure Cloud Services (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Azure SQL Server) and design custom ETL pipelines, data schemas, and dimensional models using SQL and Snowflake. Create and enable continuous delivery pipelines, deploy machine learning models, and implement automation to enhance operational efficiency. Develop software solutions using Python, Scala, Splunk, Spark, and .NET, and perform advanced SQL and T-SQL programming. Conduct system performance a reliability analysis, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize architectures. Maintain system documentation, ensure security compliance, and apply best practices. Lead and mentor development teams, collaborate with stakeholders and senior leadership, and apply SAFe Agile data engineering methodologies. Design and implement complex technical solutions in telecommunications or related industries. Utilize Snowflake database development and administration, including Snowsight and APIs. Utilize ETL design, dimensional modeling, and data pipeline construction. Deploy machine learning and automation solutions. 

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Applied Computer Science and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation designing and implementing complex technical solutions in telecommunications or related industries; utilizing Snowflake database development and administration, including Snowsight and APIs; utilizing Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and Azure SQL Server; utilizing Python, Scala, Splunk, Spark, .NET, SQL and T-SQL programming; utilizing ETL design, dimensional modeling, and data pipeline construction; and deploying machine learning and automation solutions.
